LCSA have also liaised with Fareham Borough Council and Environmental Health, therefore we would like to propose all hirers and visitors comply with the following practises to enable us all to continue to keep everyone as safe as possible whilst Covid-19 is still prevalent in our community.
Covid Symptoms: If any person displays Covid-19 symptoms Group leaders/Staff/Trustees must arrange for the person to vacate the building immediately and to be encouraged to take a test. LCSA are to be informed of the result.
Hands, Face, Space: Hands, Face, Space guidance will still apply – This guidance will help us all to reduce the limit of transmission of the virus.
Face Coverings: Face coverings are no longer required by law, although the Government still expects and recommends they should continue to be worn in crowded and enclosed settings, to protect themselves and others. To reduce the risk of transmission LCSA encourage face coverings to be worn when entering/exiting our building and in communal areas including corridors/ toilets and changing rooms.
Sanitising Units/Hand washing: Group Leaders are asked to continue providing sanitiser for their own groups use. Visitors will also be encouraged to use hand sanitisers – these are located throughout the building.
Gathering in Communal Areas: LCSA discourages congregating in communal/foyer areas to lower the risks of transmission.
Group Numbers/Spacing: Group numbers are no longer limited and social distancing no longer required by law. However, the Government still encourage sensible group numbers depending on space available. We suggest Group Leaders continue with a safe lay out for group activities.
Ventilation: All group leaders are to ensure there is plenty of ventilation during group activity. Whilst is it not recommended using Air Con, at this present time the advice we have been given is if used please open windows/doors as ventilation is a priority.
Cleaning: The Government encourage regular ‘touch points’/surfaces to be cleaned. Therefore, LCSA will continue to display the cleaning records for each of our Group Leaders to sign.
Toilets: LCSA would still like to encourage one person (and/or child) to visit our cubicles one at a time to prevent any congestion.
Test/Trace QR codes: QR code will remain displayed, and we actively encourage all visitors to continue to use our QR code and strongly advise all Group Leaders to continue with Attendance Registers. (Attendance records are also required to be kept as a Fire Safety requirement.)
LCSA follow the Government guidelines and this review may be amended when required. We are a Covid-19 secure venue and hope these measures will help keep us all safe.
Best wishes to all our valued Hirers and Visitors during these uncertain times.
